Prior to booking your inflatable and fun product hire, it's very important to ensure that the product will fit in your potential set up area and fit in safely.
It's never nice for our teams to turn up to events, where the product won't fit or won't fit safely. It slows down the whole delivery process and can sometimes result in a cancelled event if a safe and suitable set up area cannot be found.
We provide all sizing information clearly online in each product listing and for customer's convenience, users can toggle between the measurements in feet and metres for their preferred measurement system.
When viewing sizing information on a product listing, you'll see two following sets of measurements.
Unit size and required space. What does this mean, you may ask?
The unit size is the size of the product and this amount of space is required to be available on a suitable set up surface. You can find what surfaces are suitable for each product on the 'suitability' tab of each product listing.
Using a bouncy castle as an example, which is generally only suitable for outdoor use on real, natural grass, you must have a space available which is as large as the unit size and completely within a real, natural grass space.
The required space is the space needed without any obstacles that could cause either damage or injury, such as a gate, fence, clothes-line, sharp garden furniture etc.
For example - if a bouncy castle measures 12ft x 12ft, a real natural, grass area measuring 12ft x 12ft will be required to site the inflatable unit and a total safe space of 16ft x 16ft must be available so this gives 2ft clearance all around the bouncy castle for users to play without risk of injury or items rubbing or puncturing the inflatable unit.
For indoor events, it's especially important to consider the ceiling height and ensure any hire product ordered is not too tall for the indoor space. For this reason, we do a whole range of indoor only bouncy castles and inflatables.
