December is always a very busy month for the team here at SJ's Leisure.
We have lots of variety in events during the month including corporate Christmas parties, community fun days, community Christmas fun days, school fun days, school Christmas parties, birthday parties, weddings, anniversaries, family get togethers and much more.
This year has been no different and December has flew by already as I write this article on Tuesday 19th December. The month seems a blur since we had an early start on Friday 1st December 2017. Since that date our staff have been full steam ahead covering events across the North-West.
Late November saw the official start of our Christmas events with a number of school Christmas fun days taking place. However, December was the month that the events really kicked into gear.
We covered an early rodeo reindeer hire on Friday 1st December 2017 for an international IT company with a major office located in Manchester. Following this we had numerous Christmas parties and events for schools, colleges, community groups and much more. Ian (a lifelong Manchester United fan) was delighted to be back at Old Trafford at the start of December to cover a rodeo reindeer hire for the Manchester United staff party. This is an event that we have covered for the last couple of years and every year it's a pleasure to be a part of in the historic stadium.
The magic mirror has also been very popular throughout the festive period with numerous hires for corporate clients as well as birthday parties. Another high profile IT client hired the magic mirror towards the start of December and loved how interactive the mirror is with the ability to add emoji's, digitally sign your photo and also the sound effects and flash files which entertain the party guests.
Also during this period we covered the annual Christmas party for the staff at BetFred which was a fantastic event with fun products such as the rodeo reindeer and rodeo Christmas pudding, inflatable snow globe bouncer and two Christmas bouncy castles.
An event we love to cover each and every year is the annual Christmas party at the Manchester Central Fire Station and we had a team there to cover a rodeo reindeer hire on the 10th December. This is a wonderful event which is organised by the brave firefighters at the station and is a really heartwarming experience. A pleasure to be a part of and one we look forward to being a part of for years to come!
An abundance of events followed across the North-West in our delivery areas such as Warrington, St Helens, Wigan, Leigh, Liverpool and more towns across Merseyside, Greater Manchester and Cheshire. Each day has seen rodeo reindeer, rodeo Christmas pudding and Ultimate WipeOut hires.

We're currently getting through the last week of events with multiple events each and every day. Saturday 23rd December will be our last working day before Christmas and our offices and delivery vans will be closed and locked up until Thursday 28th December 2017. We'll then re-open until 12pm (noon) Sunday 31st December 2017 and then close again until 9:30am Tuesday 2nd January 2018. During these periods of our business being closed. No telephone calls, emails, text messages, voicemails or any other method of communication will be responded to as our staff enjoy quality festive time with their loved ones.
We appreciate all of the custom we have received during 2017 and we've loved every minute of covering events for our amazing customers. We look forward to an even better 2018 with lots of new products, services and goals in the pipeline. 2017 was a fantastic year and we'll look to build on this year to provide an even better service to our established and new customers going forward.
